Un-wilted waking

The hoarse grass gasping for gliding crystals

opens up its throat

Reaching for each drop

Releasing a sigh of refreshed ease

Passing on an odour of renewal and untouched water

Filtering the calm air

Which quickly flickers into dark night

and blue beams like fireflies bumping into each other

Pulsing waits for another strike

delayed shock and quick blinks

Tossing around as colour and sound announce their presence

without warning

Then tense silence until eyes slide shut

Forgetting the battle, creeping open to chirping chatter

Sun greeting the walls

with a heavy agitation hanging around
